It’s been a while since I’ve written a post for Orlando Unleashed. So why not write about my favorite late night host and probably my new favorite ride at Universal Orlando. I am sure you have heard plenty about the new ride that is opening this week here and has been doing sneak previews for a while now.
I have been on it a few times already and I LOVE it! I won’t spoil the ride itself because I am sure many of you want to experience that for yourself, but let me tell you, it felt like I was back in my favorite city.
Walking through the front entrance was the pretty cool. We did the virtual line reservation each time we went on and made for a very easy and enjoyable access to the ride. Once they scanned my phone, it was like walking through the NBC building at 30 Rock in New York. Which made me so happy because a piece of my heart will forever live in NYC. So this made me smile BIG. The halls were empty and we were able to enjoy the lobby and the staff was nice and dressed up just as the employees in NYC.
Once inside there is TONS of The Tonight Show memorabilia. Which was pretty cool to see from past guest and past hosts. Once you are there you get a ticket to your “show” and you can enjoy some music, some of your favorite Jimmy Fallon moments, #hashtags, Thank you notes, all of it. But I was most impressed with the Ragtime gals Barbershop quartets who did the history of hip hop. Oh my goodness I was cracking up the whole time! The best thing I saw that day!
From here you would go onto race Jimmy Fallon and race through the streets of New York and see if you beat him. You will see all the famous New York landmarks so keep your eyes peeled as you will see favorite spots and favorite Tonight show characters. I would totally recommend this ride and if you don’t Ew! Sara…with no H because H’s are Ew! wouldn’t like it. And there are many rides at Universal Orlando and this one made it to the top of my list.
There aren’t many rides I can get on for obvious reasons, but this one is OK and I enjoyed it greatly. So race Jimmy, I think you can take him! Officially opening April 6, 2017. Get your tickets and vacation packages details here.
